translated is a private, secure, and offline-only translator. It makes no external connections and exclusively uses the offline languages provided natively by Apple.

Designed to look nearly exactly like Apple's iOS Translate, but for Mac. Includes Desktop equivalents for mobile features.
Originally named "Translate For Mac" but was renamed to "translated" to avoid confusion with Apple's Translate app, named "translated" to match its intended, built-in to the OS design style language.
"translated" is a double entendre, a play on the daemon naming convention, lowercase letters with 'd' at the end, and the past tense of "Translate". "translated" is the missing translate app, for macOS, the only one that aims to provide the same experience as its iOS counterpart.
P.S the actual daemon providing translations for macOS is called "translationd"
